As Eternity Flows is chamber music for all the senses. It brings to life a shared artistic language in which sound, movement, space, and light become intimately connected and interact throughout the creative process and in performance.

Conceived by Delirium Musicum violinist and director Étienne Gara, LA Dance Project dancer-choreographer Shu Kinouchi, and lighting designer François-Pierre Couture, As Eternity Flows transforms the encounter between music, dance, and lighting design into an immersive theatrical and musical experience, crossing traditional boundaries between artistic disciplines.

Seven musicians and six dancers explore the essence of life and the emergence of a shared, unspoken language, questioning our relationship with time and one another through music ranging from Vivaldi and Saint-Saëns' Danse macabre to Steve Reich and Philip Glass, and drawing inspiration from dance, tales, and traditions of East and West.

Without a fixed narrative, As Eternity Flows leaves space for imagination and interpretation. Each audience member can discover their own story—or no story at all—making the experience deeply personal while remaining a shared emotional journey.

A poetic invitation to cherish the uniqueness of each individual, As Eternity Flows offers a natural meeting point for audiences drawn to classical music, contemporary dance, and cross-cultural artistic traditions.

As Eternity Flows will premiere with 13 artists—7 musicians of Delirium Musicum and 6 dancers— on March 13, 2027, at The Soraya in Los Angeles, and is designed to tour in flexible versions for 3, 6, or 13 artists, and is adaptable to a wide range of venues and spatial configurations.

• THE CORE ARTISTS:

Étienne Gara

Violin virtuoso and visionary producer Étienne Gara is a barrier-breaking artist known for creating performance experiences that unite genres, people, and ideas. During tenures as Artist in Residence at The Soraya Performing Arts Center and the USC Brain & Creativity Institute, he has captained such timely and diverse artistic explorations as “Treelogy” - a musical homage to the resilience of the iconic trees of California after wildfires - and “Sketches of Miles,” which married the classical and the jazz in a paean to the mastery of legendary trumpeter Miles Davis. He tours extensively in the US and Canada, Europe, and Asia, and recorded his French Recital CD on the 1714 Leonora Jackson Stradivarius. He is a Warner Classics exclusive artist with his award-winning chamber orchestra, Delirium Musicum (Seasons - 2023, and Cabinet of Curiosities - 2025).

Shu Kinouchi

Shu Kinouchi is a ballet dancer and multidisciplinary artist from a suburban town near Yokohama, Japan. Shu aims for his choreography to relate and connect to social conditions through movement, examining and finding abstract communications, acknowledgements, and reactions between himself and objects in space. His choreographic work blends ballet, martial arts, theater, and performance art, often drawing from the nuance and restraint of Japanese unspoken culture. He is currently a danser at Benjamin Millepied's LA Dance Project.

François-Pierre Couture

François-Pierre Couture is an award-winning designer originally from Montréal. Creatively, he seeks out simplicity and imagination - utilizing raw materials, unconventional lighting sources, and mix media juxtaposed with traditional theatrical devices. He has worked with such artists and troupes as Robert Lepage, Jocelyne Montpetit, Dominic Champagne, Benjamin Millepied, and Cirque du Soleil.
